What is coulee region chill?

Coulee Region Chill is an American junior ice hockey team based in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The team was founded in 2010 as an expansion team in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). The Chill play their home games at the Green Island Ice Arena. The team's mascot is a penguin named "Chilly."

Over the years, the Chill have had many successful seasons, making it to the playoffs multiple times. Some notable players who have played for the Chill include Blake Lizotte (now with the Los Angeles Kings) and Adam Carlson (now with the South Carolina Stingrays).

In 2019, the Chill were sold to the Pillar Group, a sports management company based in Minnesota. The team now competes in the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), a Tier III junior league. The Chill continue to provide opportunities for young hockey players to develop their skills and potentially move onto higher levels of play.
